Tata Consultancy Services, TCS is planning to hire 30,000 people [trainees as well as experienced professionals] this year.

This financial year means upto March 2007 !! wow….now..lets see..ie only 8 months left from today, which comes to 125 people everyday !! I guess, they shall have to start first by hiring more people in their HR dept 🙂

I was browsing through their ‘Hot Jobs‘ page of their Recruitment Portal, & guess what; the top in the list of ‘Hot Jobs’, are several foreign language positions; Foreign Language Testers, German Tester, Japanese Translator, etc.

Well, I guess, that really shows that Outsourcing is touching a lot of people & not only software professionals.
